Triceratops Rib Fossil

One of the most recognizable dinosaurs, Triceratops roamed North America during the Cretaceous (68-66 million years ago). They would protect themselves by going head-to-head with T. rex when needed, and devoured fibrous plants. 

This fossil here is a section of a Triceratops rib, featuring a deep brown coloring and multiple cracks and fractures. An impressive specimen from a single bone.
