General Shipping Information

Most items are available for immediate delivery and will be shipped within two business days. If an item is not currently in stock, we will email you an expected ship date. Customer service will contact you if there is any delay with your order.

The Houston Museum of Natural Science ships worldwide.

International shipping orders are subject to additional charges.

We require a signature on all shipments valuing $1,000 or more.

Standard Flat-Fee Shipping

SHIP YOUR ENTIRE ORDER FOR A FLAT FEE OF $12.95.
Select standard shipping for one low flat fee per shipping address.
Your order will be shipped via the US Postal Service and should arrive within 4-10 business days, excluding holidays, for most in-stock merchandise. Please allow 1-2 days of handling time

For Hawaii, Alaska and U.S. Territories

A $18 shipping charge will apply.
All shipments to Hawaii, Alaska, and U.S. Territories will be shipped USPS Ground and may take longer than shipments to the Continental U.S. Please allow 1-2 days of handling time.

Free Shipping

Free Standard Shipping on all Continental U.S. orders of $125 or more.

Museum Pick Up

Please allow up to 48 hours to process your order. A second confirmation email will be sent when order is ready for pick up. You may pick up your order at the Museum Store Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. For same-day pick up, please call the central location at 713-639-4663 for help.  All pick up orders are at the Hermann Park location.  The museum is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Curbside orders that are not picked up within 30 days of purchase will be restocked back to the store with no refund.
