The gentlest bar in the Avlia Aleppo range. With 95% first-press olive oil and just a whisper of laurel — 5% — this is Aleppo soap at its mildest: a soft, creamy lather, a barely-there earthy note, and nothing on the label you cannot pronounce.

It is crafted by Syrian refugee artisans in southern Türkiye, carrying a soap-making tradition that began in Aleppo more than 3,000 years ago. Each bar is kettle-cooked in open vats, poured, cut by hand and pressed with the traditional Arabic seal — the mark that has identified genuine Aleppo soap for generations.

Why 5% is the gentlest Aleppo bar

At 5% laurel, the olive oil leads. The bar cleanses softly without stripping, leaving skin comfortable rather than tight — the reason low-laurel Aleppo bars have been the everyday soap of Mediterranean households for centuries. The laurel is present as a quiet, earthy undertone and a gentle lift to the lather, not as a statement.
