Fossil walrus tusk and bone is found by chance in the villages of Alaska, where the materials lay for hundreds or even thousands of years. Natural colors vary depending upon where the tusk lay, and for how many years. Fossil walrus tusks are sliced, polished, matched, and set in Ivory Jack's Pacific Northwest area studio with solid 14kt lever backs.
