These beautiful sculptures are handcrafted in Kenya using locally sourced jacaranda wood. Due to the handcrafted nature of this item, some variation may occur.

We work with an amazing co-op in Kenya, the Gikomba Wood Carving Cooperative, a group of woodcarvers of all ages who work in an open-air workshop in Nairobi. This environmentally-responsible group takes care to legally procure all types of African wood used in their products, and they are skilled at using all parts of the tree in their artwork.
