When Artie and Dorothy McFerrin purchased their first objet d'art by Faberge over a decade ago, they discovered a passion that has grown throughout the years. Today, with over 600 items, their accumulation of Faberge pieces has become one of the largest private collections of Faberge in the world, on display here at the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS) in Texas. This book is the second volume about their collection and reveals Faberge pieces aquired over the past three years, many of which have never been published before, in addition to a selection of important Imperial Russian pieces that appeared in the first book, "From a Snowflake to an Iceberg: The McFerrin Collection" (2013), and a few of their personal favorites.
