Oviraptor, whose name means "egg-thief", was a small bipedal dinosaur that lived in the late Cretaceous. It is supposed to be carnivorous and amateur of eggs that he had to break with his toothless bill. This alert-looking dinosaur was about 2.5 meters tall and had a long crest on top of his head. Its large orbits suggest a sharp view and a great vivacity. It seems that the body has been completely covered with feathers. The curved upper and lower jaws of Oviraptor would have been able to crush even hard objects. This dinosaur may have eaten eggs, or fed on fish and shellfish.
