The sun is one of 200 billion stars within the Milky Way Galaxy. Perched on the edge of the galaxy, our solar system orbits the center once every 250 million years.
3" paperweight is handblown by artists in Seattle, Washington and contains dichroic glass (an optical metallic oxide glass developed by NASA) and ash from the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens.
