Canopic jars were use in ancient Egypt to store the vital organs of the deceased for use in the afterlife. The tops of the jars are adorned with the four sons of Horus for protection.

This jar is Imsety, one of the four Sons of Horus. He is generally represented with a man's head and is responsible for the protection of the embalmed liver of the deceased after mummification. Made from polymer mold and packaged with information card in a decorative hieroglyphic box.
