Beautiful forms indeed, the handmade, glass Kaleidoscope by Steve Fallows is a work of art both inside, and out.
When looking through the eye-piece, mirrors angled toward each other on the inside of the tube reflect the colorful glass pebbles held in the rotating disk at the Kaleidoscopes end. The wedge-shaped image created by the rotating disk is repeated multiple times to form a complete circle when viewed through the eye-piece. No two patterns are ever exactly the same as the items within the disk move around, changing the colorful patterns each time.
The Heart Glass Kaleidoscope is handmade by Steve Fallows in Arizona, and has his artists signature etched into the glass on the side of the triangular tube. The kaleidoscope measures to be about 9 inches long, approximately 2.75 inches wide.
Due to its fragility, it is Pick Up Only from HMNS Hermann Park.
