Dine (Navajo) mother placed bracelets or necklaces or Tsidze' (Juniper Berry Seeds) on their children to protect them from evil spirits and bad dreams. Adults would also place the berries in their mouths for protection. Wearing of Tsidze' brings a reconnection with our inner strength and surrounding.
