Member's Price:
$20.00 - $22.50

A striking specimen containing multiple Orthoceras, an ancient cephalopod which lived from the Ordovician to Triassic ages (500 to 190 million years ago).

The name Orthoceras means "straight horn," and it refers to the slender, elongated shells that are polished and preserved in this specimen. Orthoceras were among the most advanced invertebrates of their time having eyes, jaws, and a sophisticated nervous system. These creatures were highly successful predators that also had tentacles and ink sacs much like the modern-day squid.

Each Specimen is one of a kind and will differ from the one shown in the picture.
