Saturn's distinctive rings were first noted by Galileo in 1610. The rings are thought to be made up of space debris, shattered comets and asteroids, along with ice particles.
3" paperweight is handblown by artists in Seattle, Washington and contains dichroic glass (an optical metallic oxide glass developed by NASA) and ash from the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens.
Due to its handmade nature, each paperweight will be unique.
