Ice dwarfs are celestial bodies in gravitational orbit beyond Neptune. Dwarf planets have enough mass to maintain their round shape, but not enough to become gravitationally dominant in their orbit. Pluto was reclassified as an ice dwarf in 2006. Our 3" paperweight is handblown by artists in Seattle, Washington and contains dichroic glass (an optical metallic oxide glass developed by NASA) and ash from the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Due to its handmade nature, each paperweight will vary.
