The Andromeda Galaxy is our nearest spiral galaxy at only 2.6 million light years away. In approximately 3 billion years, the Andromeda and the Milky Way will collide and form a new elliptical galaxy.
3" paperweight is handblown by artists in Seattle, Washington and contains dichroic glass (an optical metallic oxide glass developed by NASA) and ash from the 1980 eruption of Mt. St. Helens.
Due to its handmade nature, each paperweight will be unique.
