Fossil Ammonite Bookends, Brown Originally $125

Member's Price:
$32.00 - $36.00

Our fossil bookends feature ammonites, an extinct type of cephalopod mollusk from the Ordovician seas that covered an area that is now Morocco. Ammonites and orthoceras were among the most advanced invertebrates of their time having eyes, jaws, and a complex nervous system. These cephalopod mollusks were successful, sophisticated predators that also had tentacles and ink sacs, much like modern-day squid, cuttlefish, and nautilus.

Approximately 7.5 inches x 6 inches x 2 inches.

No two pairs are alike, so each set has a one-of-a-kind pattern.
